Jewellery making classes are offered for those wanting to explore their own creativity through learning to make jewellery from scratch using traditional methods. Classes have been running since 2011. Contact us to book you place.
A maximum of four students can be accommodated per class, so as to ensure individual attention… and there is a blend of beginners and advanced in each.
Every student and their needs gets met on an individual level. As some students have been attending classes for ten years there is no set timespan and as the classes are ongoing there is the option to attend for only a few months too….
During the classes you will be introduced to the basic techniques and methods involved in the different processes of jewellery making from scratch to finish.
Once a basic understanding has been established you will be encouraged, inspired and assisted to make your own jewellery pieces in accordance with what you want to learn.
Class fees include the use of the studio facilities, equipment and tools, metals, gemstones and consumables are not included.
A start up kit and some consumables are available from us and stone reps periodically pop in during classes.
Class times:
Monday morning 10am to 1pm
R2200.00 per month for one class per week.
